Triage complex digital support requests across Global Breeding, providing guidance to more junior team members and collaborating with escalation partners to resolve as appropriate;

Collect questions and coordinate into FAQ documentation for users;

Troubleshoot and test to resolve complex issues and provide feedback;

Coordinate routine and refresher training and help with accessibility issues;

Coordinate software documentation, including product webpages, knowledge bases, and FAQ’s in an effort to minimize volume of support tickets;

Improve best practices to track/trend issues and advocate solutions that benefit end users and digital development teams;

Provide the primary source of support for APC legacy software systems, identifying opportunities for improvements;

Continuously learn in order to understand changes/new systems and elevate performance of the team within areas of expertise, as digital technologies evolve;

Drive adoption through training, documentation, and communication of outages and enhancement plans, along with usage monitoring, contributing to team best practices;

Prioritize production emergencies and collaborate to resolve in timely manner to maximize productivity of Global Breeding users and maintain critical operation uptime;

Provide recommendations for when to refresh, replace, or retire systems;

Serve as the voice of the customer and collect feedback to drive continuous improvement across IT products and workflows.

More specifically related to this position, Bayer seeks an incumbent who possesses the following:Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with at least seven years of experience OR Master’s degree with at least five years of experience or Ph.D.;

Degree in Computer science, Engineering, Science, Agriculture preferred;

Established, competent professional who independently develops and implements solutions;

Demonstrates technical/business leadership and is sought out by professionals for guidance;

Flexible, innovative, persistent, and committed to successful completion of assignments;

Interacts with senior management and influences commitment of resources and priorities;

Identifies and implements opportunities to overcome complexity and increase efficiency;

Works through conflict, identifies common ground, and executes agreed upon actions.
