Set up and operate flexographic sleeve machines according to job specifications
Monitor and adjust sleeve machines
Load and unload cores and finished product
Responsible for job set ups and changeovers
Follow job specifications and meet customer and company quality specifications
Perform quality checks throughout production
Tone inks as needed. Maintain safe work area
Complete production reports
Work directly with assistant to maintain production, quality, and safety goals
Hard Skills
Ability to use and read a tape measure
Ability to perform basic math
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to work occasional overtime
Machine operation experience REQUIRED!
Work Environment
Shift Schedule: 1st shift is 5am-1pm & 2nd shift is 1pm-9pm
This is a smaller family-owned and operated company that has very low turnover. The majority of the staff has been with the company for 5+ years.
Dress Code: steel toe boots, jeans/work pants with no holes, t-shirt, the company provides PPE: safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection
