2nd shift Quality Assurance Inspector

2nd shift - Quality Assurance Inspector (Elkhart, IN)

Compensation: Will be Dependent on Experience

Employment Type: Full-Time / 2nd shift

Monday - Thursday 3:30pm to 2:00am

Friday - Overtime as needed.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our Quality Department as an inspector on 2nd shift.

The ideal candidate must be a team player who displays self integrity and respect for others.

You must be motivated and able to effectively communicate both written and verbally.

Excellent attendance is a must.

Responsibilities:

- Perform in-process and final inspections on manufactured parts

- Clearly document inspection results through the use of inspection plans, SPC charts, logs, etc.

- Support production and engineering with special requests for inspections, tests, etc.

- Report daily to Quality Manager and as needed to department managers and Engineering

Requirements:

- Blue print reading and interpretation

- Use of metric and English systems of measurement

- Use of inspection equipment including tape measure, ruler, calipers, micrometers, and pin gauges

- Must have good eyesight with the ability to visually differentiate between colors

Previous experience in wire harnessing and/or plastic injection molding is a plus.

On the job training will be provided.
