Ascension St. Vincent Medical Surgical Innovation unit is located at 8401 Harcourt Road, Indianapolis, IN 46260 is hiring Part-Time, Night Shift (Friday and Saturday from 5:00PM – 5:00AM), Holiday rotation. Eligible candidates will have 2 years of crisis intake experience and full clinical license preferred. Main responsibilities are psychiatric level of care assessment and crisis phone calls. What You Will DoProvide behavioral health counseling services.Responsibilities:Conduct patient assessments and establish therapy treatment goals.

Administer individual and group therapy. Maintain thorough and confidential records of observations.

Evaluate progress and effectiveness of therapy interventions.

Provide patient with information regarding resources and therapeutic activities in the community.

Work directly with the patient, family, physician and community providers to ensure active and collaborate care from the initiation of treatment to the time of discharge.

What You Will NeedLicensure / Certification / Registration:One or more of the following required:

Counselor specializing in Mental Health credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human

Services Licensing Board obtained within 48 Months (4 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

Social Worker credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board obtained within 48 Months (4 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

Therapist specializing in Marriage & Family credentialed from the Indiana Behavioral Health andHuman Services Licensing Board obtained within 48 Months (4 years) of hire date or job transfer date.

BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred.

Clinical Counselor preferred.

Education:High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Additional PreferencesEligible candidates must have a Master’s in counseling, Social Work, or another related field. Candidates must have their full clinical license (LMHC, LCAC, LMFT, or LCSW) prior to the hire date. Experience working in a behavioral health crisis intake setting
