Job Title: Program CoordinatorLocation: Indianapolis, IN 46204Duration: 06/29/2022Hours: 8am - 5:00 pmPurpose of Position/Summary:Coordinator will take a data driven approach to addressing screening services uptake disparities in Indiana with a special emphasis on breast/cervical cancer screening efforts. Position will identify areas, agencies and clinics who are currently underserved and target efforts to improve the uptake of cancer screening in Indiana. Coordinator will work with the comprehensive cancer team to develop action plans to better address health disparities in cancer screening efforts. Coordinator will engage in connecting and coaching activities to encourage women experiencing disparities in screening tor receive services. Coordinator will employ targeted education, outreach, community clinical linkages, clinic recruitment and clinical coaching for to increase participation in the Program.Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

•Review current data around health disparities and uses data to target areas which are medically underserved or exhibiting disparities for increased supports.

•Establish partnerships with clinics and community based agencies to increase participation by women in BCCP or other screening efforts

•Develop a five year IDOH strategic plan to increase BCCP services and enrollees in breast and cervical cancer screening. especially among health disparate communities

•Act as a liaison between BCCP/ Comp cancer on other IDOH efforts to address health disparities in women.Job Requirements:Bachelors degree required/ Master''s degree preferred in public health, public administration or related field.Strong analytical and planning skills will be needed. Experience in addressing health disparities and the messaging to support decreasing disparities in cancer outcomes. Social marketing and outreach skills related uptake of cancer screenings is desired, but not required. Previous work with communities experiencing health disparities is preferred.
