Description Lead team members in the commitment to our safety culture and standards by ensuring that a safe workplace remains the top priority Promote the core values of Pepper Construction Serve as a leader ready and available resource and sounding board for team members Identify and develop talent within the team and identify key positions to be added to support the Manufacturing business objectives Maintain and cultivate client relationships to meet established and agreed upon business goals and objectives Attend key internal (leadership) and external (project / client) meetings Assist with preconstruction activities and project start-up to ensure successful project delivery Develop and execute a plan to achieve profit goals and contribute to the earnings from operations goals of the Company as a whole Develop team understanding of project and company cost control Bachelor of Science in Construction, Engineering or related curriculum from an accredited university A minimum of fifteen years relevant experience in manufacturing construction and team leadership Experience managing multiple manufacturing construction projects in the range of $50-$100 million and familiarity with the latest construction trends including modular and net zero strategies Must have an actively maintained network of manufacturing related clients and strategic partners such as architects, engineers, owner's reps and other major vendors Experienced and skillful in business development and preparing/presenting RFQs and RFIs Must be an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills Must have a commanding personal presence Must demonstrate leadership abilities and potential for Senior Leadership level positions Work from the Indianapolis office Our client is a general contracting and construction management firm that has served the non-residential, private, and government sectors since 1927.
