Lead production team, mentor and motivate team members, ensuring individual and group goals are achieved in Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost.

Monitor and achieve daily production.

Ensure manufacturing processes are being followed as designed by conducting standard work audits.

Interface with other functions such as quality assurance, manufacturing engineering, and quality control to solve manufacturing problems utilizing 5 Why, fishbone and other problem solving tools.

Facilitate Tier 1 employee meetings, disseminating pertinent and timely information.

Maintain and boost production efficiency, initiate and implement continuous improvement.

Train team members, and work with manufacturing engineer to implement new processes.

Qualifications

Read and understand drawings, prints (both metric and standard), Bill of Materials and Production Order Travelers.

Understand basic math (including fractions and decimals.)

Must be able to communicate (verbal and written) effectively with other people
