Vaco Technology is currently seeking an experienced Product Owner Lead who brings 5+ years' experience within the Equipment Dealerships space. The ideal Product Owner Lead will be the collaborative and committed manager of people, projects, and priorities.

Enterprise company experiencing a digital transformation to add efficiency to operations and improve the customer experience for its large customer base. The platform will be highly integrated with our corporate systems and will connect data and information across dealer territories as the centerpiece of strategic initiatives and vision. This lead role will require someone who can effectively engage with developers, product experts, and stakeholders to keep technical projects effectively prioritized and successfully delivered.

Essential Position Duties

  • Act as an internal partner to manage vendor's development team using agile methodology
  • Primary manager of the internal digital transformation process, keeping all participants on task while managing ever-changing priorities across all teams
  • Active participant on the product board to effectively collaborate with high-level stakeholders
  • Participate in weekly and monthly steering committee meetings to report on overall project status updates, identify potential risks, and /or provide recommended actions
  • Work with partners to turn operational needs into action plans and manage the successful implementation
  • Engaging collaborator with internal and external stakeholders who keeps the company's vision salient for all external stakeholders
  • Hands-on project manager within product line including documentation, workflows, requirements, issue resolution with decision ownership

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration

    or 10 years equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years previous working experience with the following:
    • Employee management
    • Dealer Management System (DMS)
    • Product Owner
    • Material Handling / Industrial Equipment Dealership highly preferred
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central is a plus
  • Knowledge of Agile process and principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft business applications preferred
  • Experience with defining technology product roadmaps
