Job Description:

HealthPartners is currently hiring for an Evaluation and Survey Coordinator. We are a nonprofit integrated care delivery and financing system based in Bloomington, MN. POSITION PURPOSE : To coordinate and manage evaluation and survey projects and serve as a consultant and facilitator for areas of the project(s) requiring specific expertise. Responsibilities include managing projects within established operating budget, coordinating recruitment and data collection, advising the project lead or project manager in protocol content and systems for implementation, and directing participating staff.ACCOUNTABILITIES : Responsible for project coordination and management of projects involving internal and external contacts. Acts as a liaison with clinic staff and other internal and external departments, companies, grant partners, etc. Facilitates groups, meetings, and committees.

Develops detailed project plans, timetables, resource estimation and tracking to meet deadlines.

Collaborates with internal sources to design systems, forms, questionnaires, surveys, interview guides and focus group guides.

Identifies and acts upon barriers to success and works to enhance plausible solutions.

Implements project protocol and ensures that the protocol is followed within Center and regulatory guidelines.

Directs the work of a limited number of project staff, which may include Specialist(s), Technicians, and others as needed. Educates Center staff to work within applicable organizational and regulatory policies and procedures.

Allocates and coordinates resources, including maintaining budgets of smaller projects with less complex financial situations.

Designs and implements recruitment and data collection processes, develops and implements methodology to assess data accuracy and completeness. Documents the data collection process, maintains orderly project files.

Creates progress reports and deliverables from databases.

Assists project team in providing regular reporting on progress and writing final reports for funding agencies, internal and external clients, oversight organizations, and communications regarding findings.

Participates in Center operations and other HealthPartners Institute activities.

Performs other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree or Associate Degree

Specialized training for the project specific area(s) of expertise; i.e. some projects require specialized training in a health systems setting, qualitative and/or survey data.

Demonstrated planning and management skills

Ability to adhere to a protocol but also to have sufficient flexibility and judgment to handle unforeseen situations that may arise

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with care provider and operations/support staff, study participants, and outside funders and clients

Experience developing and maintaining computerized databases

Reliable transportation for travel to HealthPartners clinics and meeting sites

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

Bachelor’s degree in a health-related or other research area

Two years’ experience in health systems, research or evaluation

Two years’ experience recruiting for, implementing, or monitoring quantitative or qualitative data collection projects

Knowledge of research and evaluation methods

Research, evaluation or survey-related work experience

Experience with survey development software packages, scanning systems and data collection

Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets and timelines

DECISION-MAKING :

Working in collaboration with Center leaders, will consult with the necessary personnel on issues having an impact on the Center and project, such as recurrent clinical problems, inaccessible resources, etc. Will direct the work of other project staff.HealthPartners is recognized nationally for providing outstanding care and experience for patients and members.
