Warehouse Shipping Team Leader - 2nd Shift

Job Description

• Monitor and enforce Safety policies
• Train and assist, order pickers, checkers and loaders as required
• Assist in development of department performance and productivity standards
• Hands on as needed based on workload and manpower
• Maintain, update start up and end of shift reports
• Attend all department and company meetings as required
• Assist shipping supervisor in directing workflow for department personnel
• Provide input for employee evaluations
• Complete and/or coordinate department projects as assigned
• Maintain good house keeping

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• PIT experience
• Shipping and or Receiving experience
• 1 Year experience in previous supervisory
• SAP Experience
• RF Experience
• 3PL Experience

• Judgement and decision making
• Specific technical knowledge
• Proficient in the use of computers and associated software programs including Microsoft Office and related software
• Strong organizational and communication skills verbal and written
• Must be detail oriented
• Bi-lingual is a plus but not necessary

• Ability to frequently reach above shoulders, at shoulder height and below shoulders
• Ability to stand continuously and/or walk frequently
• Ability to obtain Forklift and/or stock-picker certification
• Frequent lifting of 30-50lbs, occasionally up to 75lbs

• Monday - Friday, 3p-11:30p $15.75 + $1.00 Shift Differential
