Production Line Lead - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Job OverviewProduction Line Lead Responsible for operation and monitoring of various manual and/or automated equipment in production process. Replenishes materials as needed and maintains cleanliness of equipment and production area. Inspects production run and documents results. Troubleshoots and repairs equipment as needed. Lead role to other machine operator(s).Shift & Schedule: These full-time positions will be based at our Northlake, IL facility and will support either 2nd Shift from 1:00 - 9:30pm CST or 3rd Shift from 9:00 - 5:30am CST on a Monday - Friday schedule. Additional flexibility to work overtime, including potential off-shifts, weekends, and/or holidays, is required as scheduled.Compensation:This is a non-exempt position with a starting pay rate of $23.84/hour. ResponsibilitiesHandle empty cases and solve other line issues.

Train other operators on use of machinery.

Perform best practice quality checks on line and equipment.

Set up machinery and ensure all production materials are available.

Operate and monitor equipment and replenish materials as needed.

Monitor line for defective materials and perform any other related work in accordance with line quality.

Record all data as required (i.e. charts, necessary process adjustments based on data findings, etc.).

Clean and sanitize all equipment and facility as required.

RequirementsRequirements:High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred

3 years prior experience with operation of high-speed production machinery and monitoring of product quality

Demonstrated Working experience with peer to peer coaching

Lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs repeatedly
