Job Description

As Customer Logistics, Deductions, and Credit Manager, you are responsible for providing guidance and strategic support to the Deductions, Credit, and "CPFR" Collaboration, Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment teams on a daily basis. This includes team members in both the US and India, with approximately 14 direct reports. To be successful in this role, you must excel at establishing and monitoring clear targets, increasing our digital footprint, drive continuous improvement, and promoting strategic projects to improve department efficiencies. As the manager of these three key teams, regular alignment and escalation topics will be required with Sales and Executive Management to clearly identify open accounts receivables and main areas of concern regarding our customers.

  • Provide guidance and strategic support to Deductions, Credit, and CPFR teams
  • Analyze and problem solve largest fines, short, and returns from customers
  • Communication and control aging of customer deductions balance
  • Approve all accounts receivable clearings, understand DSO report on a monthly basis
  • Coordinate alignment and escalation with Sales for key retailers
  • Establishing and monitoring clear targets for Deduction, Credit and CPFR teams on an ongoing basis
  • Organize and present open accounts receivables
  • Ability to travel as needed by the business; approximately 10-15%

Qualifications

This is manager of people and processes. As such, you bring extensive experience in retail logistics, inventory management, warehouse operations. Minimally 8+ years of experience.

You have a problem-solving, continuous improvement mindset.

You embrace Digital opportunities; you drive the use of new tools and technology. Strong working experience with MS-office, specifically Excel, with the ability to analyze and challenge reporting data. Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including a strong customer service focus. You lead by example, and empower your teams. You easily build trust and credibility, and have the ability to drive and influence. You are “big picture” oriented, while also detail-minded, and you possess excellent follow-up skills.

Preferably, you have previous leadership experiences, managing high performing teams.
