The

We’re looking for a driven and passionate Digital Project Manager to join us in helping strengthen our brand digitally. We are traditionally strong in mechanical engineering for power tools; given changes in the industry we are looking to build out our digital ecosystem starting with the first ever Dremel mobile app. This app will have ecosystem elements that will integrate with our connected tools strategy, as well as having experiences that will allow users to connect with our brand, and each other.

We are looking for someone that has mobile app Project Management experience to be able to manage a development team and execute our digital strategy. Our development team could be located anywhere in the world. Key focus areas of the role are being able to understand the technical development process, working closely with software development team, while managing schedule and cost. It is important that this person is innovative, passionate, driven and of course has the right technical and project management skills to complete the job.

As Digital Project Manager, you can expect to:

• Own and drive the technical implementation of our digital roadmap while managing schedule and budget, project scope, and overall project organization
• Support technical implementation from inception to execution by working closely with product owner, internal/external developers, testers, UI/UX designers, architects.
• Scope new digital technology trends and contribute to innovation and ideas we could introduce to our end users
• Simplify digital complexity and communicate to stakeholders to facilitate decision making and direction for Dremel ecosystem & mobile app

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical discipline is required, along with 3-6 years of experience,
  including 2+ years of Mobile technology experience with developing & managing mobile app projects
• Experience with creating prototypes/mock-ups using tools such as proto.io, invision, balsamiq etc.
• 2+ years' experience demonstrating usage of methodologies (SCRUM, Agile, etc.) and best practices through the PM life-cycle
• Preferred prior development experience with mobile application development - native iOS/Android, Phone Gap / Cordova, Xamarin and/or a strong understanding of web, mobile and application development.
• Full-stack software – UI/UX, integrations, back-end systems development.
• Strong technical skills or experience in driving technically complex product development environment.
• Experience working with innovation and white space strategy programs
• Ability to communicate complex ideas in a clear, concise manner both verbally and in writing to facilitate stakeholder discussions/decisions.
• Strong problem solving skills; responsive and flexible to evolving responsibilities, priorities and changing environments.
• Results oriented as demonstrated by proven ability to meet deadlines and execute against multiple competing priorities with little to no supervision.
• Experience partnering with global teams.
