General Description :
Facilitate the Release process by researching, obtaining, preparing, and filing the necessary documentation. Reports to Supervisor.
Responsibilities - Include, but are not limited to :
Obtain digital or physical documents within strict guidelines on large quantities of PIF loans.
Regularly communicate with clients, document custodians, third parties, and government agencies.
Verify the presence and accuracy of all documents required to prepare a release, conducting research or contacting others as appropriate to obtain corrected or missing information.
Research aged or rejected releases in a timely manner.
Submit necessary release documents to the County for recordation within compliance timeframes.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the organization’s processes and procedures.
Regularly investigate county recordation information and requirements via online public records or over the telephone.
Actively participate in identifying process improvement opportunities within the department.
Proactively notify management when established KPI minimums are not being met.
Comply with Code of Conduct and regulatory training requirements.
Complete quarterly training through Corporate Training department.
Successfully complete annual regulatory compliance training.
Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications :
High School diploma or equivalent
1+ years customer service or administrative experience
Proficient skills in typing, spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and prooing
Solid PC skills : Proficient with Microsoft applications and loan servicing platforms
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize and accurately handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment
Effective verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability to interact in a positive and professional manner at all times with all levels of both internal and external audiences, including the ability to explain complex issues and resolutions clearly and concisely
Customer service skills, including conflict resolution management
Preferred Qualifications
College degree or mortgage industry experience equivalent
Knowledge of mortgage servicing laws and regulations
