The DIRECTV IT Digital Delivery team builds experiences that efficiently offer our products to prospects, delight our customers, and create a connected omnichannel experience. Our scope is the breadth of the online sales and service experience (directv.com), and the digital platforms that enable other customer-facing systems. The Senior Business Management lead will work with team leadership to support team operations and drive specific complex initiatives. This work includes building team-level views of execution performance, budget status, capacity, and risks. Additionally, this role will support specific complex engagements which typically require cross-functional coordination to drive work, negotiate tradeoffs, and overcome obstacles. Last, this role will assist with the coordination and enablement of the team overall, handling internal team efficiency and operational initiatives.

Qualifications of the successful candidate:
  • A seasoned project manager, with experience delivering complex technical projects in large-scale, multi-stakeholder environments; experienced with Agile delivery teams and tools, especially in a portfolio management capacity
  • Experienced with budget management and able to negotiate approvals to get things done
  • A strong communicator, able to effectively synthesize key points of a topic and turn them into a persuasive conversation, presentation, or email
  • Experience driving delivery in complex technology environments (large scale, many interconnected systems) in project management or delivery roles.
  • Independent and energetic in the pursuit of solutions to a challenge; persistent but diplomatic in working across teams.

  • Our Senior Technology Project/Program Management can earn between $95,500 - $190,900 depending ou experience and geographic location.
