job summary:

- Job Description: As an Identity Architect, you will be expected to contribute to a cloud-focused engineering teams in order to deliver end-to-end authentication and authorization transformation solutions. This challenging role requires senior Identity knowledge and experience across many facets of existing on-prem as well as move to the cloud technology. We are looking for a multi-talented professional consultant with deep technical background within the global Identity space, experience in building world-class solutions with strong collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

- Architect and develop custom solutions as part of clients app modernization and cloud-first strategy

- Delivery of deep Azure PaaS, SaaS, and IaaS knowledge and experience in assisting infrastructure and application teams.

- Providing direct knowledge and experience defining Azure Identity solutions leveraging the use of Manage Identities, Service Principals, and Services Accounts to meet or exceed architecture security requirements.

- Comprehension and ability to resolve API existing authentication and authorization requirements to support app teams and Internal/External demands.

- Contributing expert-level technical design and thought-leadership of Azure assessment and implementation engagements - To lead elaboration and discovery sessions to inform solution design, migration and modernization strategy

- To implement modern Identity solutions via Azure Architecture and Services. (AKS, DevOps, PowerBI, ADLS, D386, Logical Apps, Key Vault, Cosmos DB)

- Ability to communicate vision/strategy involving Identity architecture topology, component design, networking and security of proposed solutions through modeling and using tools like Visio

- Provide technical leadership for on-premises assessment and modernization strategy

- Serve as a technical leader and mentor to existing Identity Engineering team

Skills/Experience:

- Demonstrable Identity experience in Platform Technologies: Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Key Vault, Cosmos DB,

- API Management, ARM templates, and general cloud governance and security mechanisms are required.

- Direct experience in designing and modeling Azure Conditional Access solution

- Experience developing architectures in multiple domains infrastructure, Security, Software architectures and key software components

- Experience with IaaS and PaaS capabilities on cloud platforms

- Sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the design and scope of deliverables within a field of expertise

- Able to communicate and present complex issues with preciseness, assurance and confidence

- Passion for technology and a high technical aptitude

- Demonstrable consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing

- An understanding of modern Azure service offerings is a must.

Requirements:

- 5+ years of enterprise architecture, infrastructure and/or solution delivery experience and a Bachelor of Computer Science

- 3+ years delivering enterprise solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform

- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
