Please contact for details on this 100% REMOTE Sitecore Developer position supporting our airline client headquartered in Chicago. KEY DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES Design, develop and modify software applications/systems according to specifications Consults with Business Analysts and business partners on potential software solutions for business specifications Support and troubleshoot software systems as required, optimizing performance, resolving problems, and providing follow-up on all issues and solutions Complete comprehensive unit testing and develop appropriate software documentation QUALIFICATIONS Education / Certification BS/BA, preferably in a technical or scientific field or equivalent experience, education or training Knowledge/Skills - Required Ability to complete all phases of SDLC including analysis, design, development, testing and support utilizing Agile methodology. Ability to innovate and provide functional applications with intuitive interfaces. Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Excellent and clear communication skills. Technologies - Required Sitecore certified 8.0, 9.0 or newer Sitecore 9.x or newer Glass Mapper (Transact SQL) C# ASP.NET / .NET Framework version 3.x & 4.x MVC WCF / Web API REST XML / AJAX / JSON JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS, jQuery) Bootstrap / Responsive web site design HTML / CSS / Less Team Development for Sitecore (TDS) Git / Team Foundation Server Windows Server 2012 or newer Cloud technologies (AWS) Technologies - Preferred Team Foundation Server (TFS) PowerShell Mongo DB Bower/Gulp/Nuget AppDynamics Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment Mobile Technologies (Cordova / Ionic) Telligent Tibco Experience 3+ years of experience developing with Sitecore 8.x and 9.x 5+ years of experience developing web applications for products using ASP.NET, C#, JavaScript technologies and SQL Server Design database schema, developing stored procedures (T-SQL).
