BCforward is currently seeking highly motivated Business Analyst in Chicago, IL

We place consultants for end clients all over USA.

Job Title: Business Analyst

Location: Chicago, IL

Expected Duration: 5 Months Contract with possible extension or permanent depending on the performance of the candidate and client needs.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage the coordination of the Business communications across vested stakeholders and impacted teams across the Firm

Identification and engagement of business leads

Responsible for internal business communication plan (senior updates, setting up business bridges, employee updates, etc.)

Collaboration with cross LOB dependencies

Consolidation & reporting of client impact

Maintain evergreen process and procedures (e.g. regular revalidation of cross LOB communication map)

Understand internal / external dependencies & their risks/gaps

Conduct Post Incident follow up for Root Cause Analysis

Data and metrics to support service levels and monthly reporting package

Readiness and Incident Management - high touch client support

The position requires the flexibility to support an "always-on" (24x7) product for high touch clients. This is a visible and important business role, as you will be empowered to orchestrate incident resolution with our technology teams and define the business impact for stakeholder and clients with follow up to close out. The position entails wearing many hats with the ability to process map, manage projects, and communicate effectively.

Key roles and responsibilities:

Collaborating with multiple teams- coordinating across different cross-functional teams supporting multiple products within the Commercial Card portfolio.

Execution and project management skills - Well-developed organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities. Able to respond to rapidly changing business needs and urgent requests quickly and effectively. Must be self-directed with the ability to explore innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner. Must be proactive, detail and results-oriented, and willing to drive change.

Communications skills - Must possess strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to synthesize "the story" for executive and/or client-level audiences and adjust messages and style based on different audiences and agendas.

Problem solving skills - Strong problem solving, and analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, gather, and manipulate data and obtain consensus. Able to outline work process in a thoughtful and detailed manner. Intellectually curious with a genuine interest in knowledge gathering and problem solving.

Technical and analytical skills - Able to create insightful, accurate analysis and reporting. Understand business drivers and ensure that the groups' analyses are sound.

Interpersonal skills - Strong professional presence with the ability to interact and influence colleagues at all levels in the business who remains calm under pressure. Proactively seeks guidance, clarification, and feedback from others

Skills Required / Qualifications

Excellent oral and written communication

Understanding of Incident Management or Service and Operations within an organization

Self-starter with desire to improve business processes, workflow, and procedures

Possess critical thinking, analytical, and organizational troubleshooting skills

Able to effectively build relationships

Ability to work independently and within a team

Ability to navigate and use Microsoft Office Suite

Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment utilizing multiple tools
