Our client has a need for a Project Manager for their PMO. Looking for someone who provides project guidance in the technical delivery of one to two medium or one large, complex enterprise or IS project from initiation through to closure. Responsible for scoping, estimation, planning, executing, controlling and monitoring the project to keep projects on schedule and on budget and reporting project status to various levels of the organization. Proactively identifies risk mitigation strategies and leads issue resolution activities to deliver approved scope on-time and on-budget. Effectively communicates project status to all levels of the organization.

SECTION TWO: JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

•?Responsible for overall planning, execution, delivery, monitoring and control of projects and programs. •Defining and controlling the project approach, scope, staffing plan, communication plan, tasks, milestones, budgets and measures of success to support the business case. Ensures project objective and project roles and expectations are clearly understood by project team members. •Influences and collaborates with key stakeholders and business partners to drive the right project outcomes. Represents the project team at stakeholder meetings regarding project health and to create buy-in for risk mitigation and contingency plans. •Holds both internal and external project team members accountable to on-time completion and quality of project deliverables and milestones. •Leads, collaborates, and influences both internal and external technical parties on risk mitigation and issue resolution activities. •Effectively communicates complex technical concepts, both verbally and in writing to wide stakeholder audience that includes both project team members as well as Sr. leadership. Excellent presentation skills, with experience communicating to stakeholders in both technical and non-technical areas. •Ensures appropriate quality controls are in place and adhered to by project team members. Obtains appropriate level of approval for all project documentation. •Provides coaching and guidance on a continuous basis to Associate Project Managers and project team members in the areas of project lifecycle activities and processes. •Proactively identifies and is engaged in cross functional improvement initiatives. Ensures the use of best practices and applies lessons learned from previous projects; shares findings with other project management team members. •Engaged in the development of third party statements of work and verifies that they contain needed delivery related activities and deliverables with minimal revisions and supervision.

SECTION THREE: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS •?Bachelor's degree, specialized training, or 7+ years of relevant work experience required •3 + years of project management experience, managing projects for full life-cycle - from initiation to implementation •Experience with projects in multiple technologies and industries •Experience managing geographically distributed and culturally diverse work-groups •Strong written and verbal communication skills •High organization and planning skills •Experience with IS application integration or infrastructure required
