North & Maple Kitchen + Bar is growing! With our second location opening soon, we are looking for a top-tier, hands-on Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary operations during this exciting time. Job Summary:

As Kitchen Manager, you will take charge of all kitchen operations, ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional food quality, and strong team collaboration. You’ll be instrumental in upholding our standards and fostering the growth of our team and brand.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of talented kitchen staff. Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professionalism.

Hands-On Management: Be actively involved in food preparation and cooking, setting the standard for quality and efficiency. Be the go-to leader during peak times.

Menu Execution: Work with our leadership team to execute and refine menus that align with North & Maple’s vision and customer expectations.

Inventory & Cost Management: Oversee inventory, ordering, and cost control to maintain profitability while minimizing waste.

Compliance & Safety: Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, cleanliness, and health codes. Maintain a spotless kitchen and well-maintained equipment.

Training & Development: Train and develop staff, ensuring they meet North & Maple’s high standards of service and culinary excellence.

Customer Focus: Collaborate with front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless dining experience. Address and resolve customer feedback regarding food promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a leadership role within a high-volume kitchen.

Exceptional culinary skills with a passion for creating outstanding dishes.

Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

Experience managing food costs, inventory, and kitchen operations.

Comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance standards.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle the challenges of a growing brand.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation based on experience and skill level. We are looking for a top gun candidate and will offer a package that reflects your expertise.
