In this position, Sr. Test Engineer primary responsibility will be to ensure a successful data conversion and implementation of a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system. This includes CRM Integration Testing, Data Quality and Integrity testing, Usability (Functional and Performance) Testing etc.

This is a hands-on testing position which requires deep knowledge and understanding of all aspects of planning, developing and executing Front-end as well as Back-end testing. The Sr. Test Engineer must be an advocate for all things Testing and Quality Assurance while driving and implementing best practices. And must poses strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.As a motivated and self-driven member of the Technology organization, the Quality Assurance Test Engineer will be responsible for assuring consistent, high quality testing standards are utilized on all products and systems.

Test engineer is responsible for planning and executing manual and automated testing activities on new and existing products to ensure that they meet the Business, Functional and Technical specifications and maintain high overall product quality. The Test Engineer will interface with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Software Developers, End Users and Scrum Masters to deliver products with quality and on schedule. Duties and responsibilities:

  • Review business requirements, functional specifications, use cases, design, and architecture documents in order to create effective, value-add test plans.
  • Test and monitor the full ETL pipeline from source systems to CRM system to ensure integrity and accuracy of data has been maintained.
  • Identify issues in data, application configurations and screen designs, report and oversee issue resolution.
  • Become an expert in business rules, system functionality and CRM ETL process and architecture.
  • Develop and maintain best-in-class regression test suite.
  • Independently develop, modify, and execute test plans based on requirements and design documents.
  • Provide estimates and timeframe necessary for testing a project to ensure a high-quality implementation.
  • Contribute to and maintain project documentations.
  • Provide concise and consistent status reporting.
  • Identify, report and track defects and User Experience issues through a system of record.
  • Collaborate with external teams on root cause analysis.
  • Maintain close interaction with business and technical peers during the project life cycle.
  • Ensuring proper traceability from requirements to test artifacts.
  • Actively participate in requirements and code reviews.
  • Actively participate and drive improvements in Agile Scrum delivery.
  • Be a thought leader in the test design and execution arena (manual and automated).
  • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest improvement actions.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and testing approaches.
  • Assist leadership with defining and improving the overall QA and SDLC process.
  • Creation and input of test data, either manually or by using tools, programs or masked production data to execute test cases.
  • Oversee work, mentor/coach of junior QA Engineers.
Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area.
  • Strong hands-on experience using SQL queries for results validation and data mining.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CRM applications such as Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Hands-on experience with Automated Testing tools such as Selenium, SoapUI Pro, TestComplete, UFT etc
  • At least 8 years of professional experience on a variety of projects in Test Strategy, Test Design, Test Execution analysis & reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more languages (C#, Python, JS, PowerShell etc)
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, ALM, TFS/ADO or similar systems of record.
  • Deep understanding of Development and Test cycles, including respective best practices.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Regression Test Strategies, Regression suite maintenance and execution.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Strong ability to troubleshoot issues, identifying root causes and support development team in development of resolutions.
  • Experience in Mobile and API testing is a strong plus.
  • Coding and development experience are a plus.
  • Strong communication and Client/Business interfacing and interpersonal skills are a must.
