Java Tech Lead - Options Market Making

A High Frequency Trading Firm in Chicago is seeking out a hands-on Technical Lead (Java) to lead a small team and drive the technical direction of their Market Making Options business. This individual would leverage their Market Making domain experience to collaborate with stakeholders and other engineers to continually enhance the profitability of their Market Making Options business. This Java Tech Lead would be hands on in development while also overseeing a small team and mentoring more junior engineers.

• Proficient experience in Java and Python development
• Experience within the Market Making space (Options is preferred)
• Proven experience leading a project or small team
• Proven experience managing resources, project scope, and delivering solutions in a timely manner
• Experience with cross team collaboration
• Ability to understand where one can leverage already existing technologies and where there is business opportunity to expand their technological breadth
