Job Description

Director, Business Developement, Salesforce Practice (Engagement Manager)

This successful candidatebuilds strong, trusted relationships with clients around the implementation of Salesforce.com, and is the primary liaison with the client executives and project sponsors. The EM will be responsible for acquiring new customers in an assigned industry. Our EM’s are able to effectively communicate with clients at all levels, quickly assess their business needs, translate these needs into salesforce.com solutions, accurately scope and estimate implementation effort and negotiate/close deals.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed services booking and revenue quotas.

  • Actively pursue and hunt for new business opportunities in accounts.

  • Network within the industry, market, and accounts to bring new client opportunities to the Salesforce COEdelivery team.

  • Identify/develop key partner strategies for specific customers and market segments.

  • Communicate effectively at all client levels.

  • Quickly grasp client business and technical requirements and fit Salesforce solutions around those specific needs.

  • Manage all phases of the business development cycles to successful close (including proposal development, implementation estimating, scope construction, and client presentations).

  • Proactively approach the market segment through active leadership in industry and community organizations.

  • Add industry specific and technology solution expertise to the sales process.

  • Maintain and nurture client relationships to ensure additional business.

Qualifications

Desired skills and experience

15 years of overall experience (comprised of the following):

  • 8+ years of CRM consulting experience and/or successful sales career with quota achievement

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment.

  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting

  • Hands on Salesforce.com experience that demonstrates a proven ability to accurately scope, estimate and propose Salesforce.com projects heavily desired

  • Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, and ERP

  • Analytical approach to identifying business challenges; visionary and creative approach towards their solutions

  • System implementation experience, with understanding of agile approach, a big plus

  • Demonstrated leadership, teamwork and collaboration

  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure.

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.

  • Unquestionable integrity, credibility and character.

  • Openness to travel and work at client site when necessary

This is a base + commission role. You will carry a quota.
