Senior Cybersecurity Architect

The Senior Cybersecurity Reference Architect is responsible for leading a small team of reference architects as well as taking a hands on role in documenting and organizing relevant security architecture documents.  The senior architect will define an overall vision and strategy for reference architecture within Global Cyber Security.The senior architect also designs and implements cyber security architecture standards to be used across the organization following the principles of confidentiality, integrity, availability, and defense in depth.  The architect is responsible for reviewing and documenting the security requirements, design decisions, risks, and mitigations for multiple areas of cyber security.This role requires a balance of technical expertise and organizational acumen, with the ability to lead a team and make strategic decisions.This role will be a part of the Global Cyber Security function and  Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering team, and will report to the Director of Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering.Responsibilities & AccountabilitiesLead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering collaboration and leveraging individual strengths.Develop and document advanced cybersecurity strategies aligned with industry best practices and company goals.Collaborate with senior business leaders to define security documents to be used by project teams.Continuously monitor and analyze emerging threats and trends, ensuring knowledge stays ahead of attackers.Design and implement advanced access control and disaster recovery plans to safeguard digital assets.Contribute to strategic planning for the cybersecurity department, managing risks and optimizing defense against evolving threats.Benefits eligible: Yes

The expected salary range for this role is  $149,260 - $190,310/ per year
