Account Manager, Port Services

Port Services is a growing C.H. Robinson service offering that enables our NAST customers to gain control of their imported material earlier in the supply chain lifecycle.

It also allows customers to save time and money while providing better service to their inland distribution centers and end customers.

Port services provides complete transloading of ocean import shipments at all North American Ports, as well as full dray service nationwide.

The mission of Port Services is to further develop C.H. Robinson customer relationships and ultimately drive revenue and volume growth for the organization.

In the three years since introduction, Port Services has grown to projected annual revenues in excess of $100 million on 80,000 transactions and is expected to continue the rapid expansion.

This position allows an individual the opportunity to join a team focused on high growth by supporting NAST Account Manager and Territorial sales efforts.

The individual selected for this role will be accountable for developing client relationships within various levels of the customer organization, aligning with internal stakeholders, ensuring success with operational execution and developing SOP’s used to communicate directly with clients and owning offices account management teams.

The account manager will also be responsible for communicating directly with providers, both warehouses and dray carriers, servicing the business.

You will proactively reach out to key stakeholders, identify and implement innovative solutions and services to drive continuous improvement and help our customers work smarter.

You will solve challenging customer issues and provide an overall exceptional customer experience.
