A mission-based money transfer company is hiring for a Director of Engineering local to the Chicagoland area. The organization focuses on the mobile transfer of funds for individuals across the world.

Requirements:

Experience in the payments space - building out or overseeing the build out of payment systems
Experience managing managers of at least 15+ total reports
Local to Chicago and able to work on a hybrid in office basis
Technical background in their career

Responsibilities:

Overseeing 2 Software Engineer teams of 8+ people, with potential to grow out to oversee 4-6 teams total
Delegate technical responsibilities and oversee the execution/vision
Assist with decision making processes and communicating directly with senior leadership

Details:

Hybrid work style / local to Chicago
Compensation: $170,000-200,000 base
