Process Engineer
Illinois, Chicago, 60601 Chicago USAHellmann's Factory Overview/Responsibilities Reporting into the Associate World Class Manufacturing (WCM) Manager, you are directly involved with leading change and making sure our factory stays World Class, which means zero defects, zero waste and zero losses. As the Process Engineer, you will learn and utilize a full range of Continuous Improvement methods and tools to reduce factory losses while working within the WCM team and cross functionally. Role expectations: Show a strong work ethic and ability to learn new processes and systems
Learn and practice troubleshooting capabilities with process and packing equipment
Responsible for the improvement of waste and performance metrics for one production line
Work with WCM team to prioritize projects through data stratification of factory downtime and waste data
Become an expert on the line and use that expertise and engineering skills to implement improvements
Collaborate with operators and maintenance team during continuous improvement activities
Present projects and key findings to the larger factory team in a professional setting
Any other responsibilities as needed
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical preferred)
0-2 years in Packaging Project Management or Continuous Improvement
Experience in FMCG/CPG (nice to have)
Demonstration of WCM or Lean Manufacturing methodology (nice to have)
