RESPONSIBILITIES:A Kforce client in Chicago, Illinois (IL) is seeking to hire a remote Onboarding Specialist.
Summary:The Onboarding Specialist will handle processing of new hires, monitoring, and ensuring background checks are complete. You will be the face behind new hire orientation, monitor the communication that comes to our onboarding inbox, and answering questions that come from new hires.Responsibilities include: Curate and deliver a high touch and inclusive onboarding experience that engages new hires, acclimates them to our culture, core values, and processes Onboarding Specialist will support the onboarding of new hire and boomerang candidates by executing tasks such as adjudicating background checks, pending worker processing, transcript requirement validation, and auditing onboarding action completion by hires Moderate new hire orientation on a rotational basis; Delivering key content, introducing and transitioning between facilitators, and addressing questions Partner with various SMEs and the Learning and Development team to drive content development and training facilitation Onboarding Specialist will coordinate with IT on the shipment and delivery of new hire technology and equipment Prepare and maintain template communications and onboarding toolkits for use by P&C and other internal stakeholder groups Onboarding Specialist will monitor firm onboarding inbox and answer general questions or route inquiries as needed Provide support to I-9 verifiers; Auditing I-9s to mitigate risk and ensuring compliance with federal regulations Provides back up support to other People and Community Associates during peak periods or for out of office coverage Onboarding Specialist works on ad hoc projects that support the onboarding experience strategy and initiativesREQUIREMENTS: 2-3+ years of experience functioning as an HR Coordinator or Generalist Solid technology skills with proficiency in Office 365 including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Comfort with ambiguity; Ability to use sound judgment to drive competing issues to resolution Outstanding organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy Engaging and professional written and verbal communications skillsKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
