The Head of Global People Analytics will be a subject matter expert that will lead the charge to build and run the People Analytics team for TransUnion. This role will be critical to accelerating our People Analytics journey-a key strategic priority for our CEO. This person will establish the strategy for the tools, technology, processes and team required to provide the type of actionable HR data that drives the organization forward.

They will partner with Business and HR Leaders across the Enterprise, the HRIS team and the Enterprise Analytics team to build the infrastructure required to collect and analyze HR data and offer actionable insights-taking us from descriptive to predictive analytics. They will interface with HR and leaders to enable them to meet their business objectives through data and analytics.

What You'll Bring:

Strategy & Storytelling
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategy in large, complex organizations
  • Ability to visualize data and tell a simple, compelling story at the executive level often via PowerPoint
  • Excellent consultative skills, understanding business needs and translating those needs to technical requirements the team can execute against
  • Strong passion to solve business problems with data
  • Understanding of best practices and trends in People Analytics

Leadership
  • At least 5 years in a management or leadership role
  • Proven ability to build and lead teams (direct or indirect reports)

Technical Expertise
  • 10+ years of hands-on expertise in data analytics, data visualization, business intelligence, and reporting
  • Experience in data modelling to support creation of advanced analytics, BI toolsets, and automated reporting
  • Experienced in analyzing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from various sources to identify patterns and relationships
  • Experience with statistical analysis and predictive model building
  • Experienced in analyzing complex, high volume, high dimensionality data from various sources to identify patterns and relationships
  • Deep understanding of HR specific data
  • Experience implementing People Analytics SaaS solutions (e.g., Visier, OneModel) highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field strongly preferred

Impact You'll Make:
  • Leverage strong experience and expertise to establish a global People Analytics vision and strategy that accelerate our People Analytics maturity
  • Establish best practices and define metrics / KPIs to create scorecard(s) that monitor the health of the business and the workforce
  • Establish a technology and self-service strategy and implementation plan
  • Serve as the domain expert for human resources data and analytics globally and translates insights and recommendations into the language of the business, often at the executive level
  • Identify and support HR and business reporting and data needs, looking to streamlined and automate wherever possible
  • Design and implement dashboards that present data in a meaningful and actionable way for the intended audience
  • Develop predictive models for areas such as turnover, high performance and recruiting demand
  • Partner with our technology teams and vendors to deliver tools and solutions that help us scale and mature our capabilities
  • Create, maintain and ensure quality assurance of key human resources data sets, reports and metrics in partnership with teams across HR and the business
  • Continue to improve and evolve the function in alignment with industry best practices and business priorities
  • Lead and build a team to support the evolution of the function. Starting with 3 fulltime resources.
  • Lead creation of future business cases for additional investments needed in technology or resources
