When you step into a career with AT&T, you won’t just imagine the future – you’ll create it.The Senior Specialist Cybersecurity is responsible for cybersecurity areas across products, services, infrastructure, networks, and/or applications. This program is tasked with quantifying key performance and risk indicators by gathering operational data from cybersecurity programs across AT&T. Focused on quantifying month-over-month changes in risk, availability, coverage, performance, and throughput, explaining the sources of deviations and gaps, and providing recommendations on programs and remediations to reduce risk and improve performance. This is accomplished through close partnership with teams and platforms across AT&T to identify, correlate, extract, and analyze cybersecurity datasets. These results are communicated to senior leadership within AT&T for the purpose of informing of the current state, identification of gaps, recommendation of remediations, and providing quantification of the impact of future efforts.Key Roles and ResponsibilitiesExamination of cybersecurity program efforts and definition of risk metrics based that quantify effectiveness, goals, and risks.

Solutioning and managing data acquisition from a variety of security log and metric sources utilizing API, web automation, and ad hoc tooling.

Data parsing and transformation using Python and Pandas to generate top level metric and summarizations of risk.

Data visualization of security risk metrics using Power BI and Matplotlib.

Data Pipeline Automation using Python, Papermill, and other automation techniques. Creation and deployment of Python based automation services on Microservice platforms.

QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecuirty, Data Analytics or equivalent job-related experience.

At least 2 years of security data analysis experience in a senior role.

Must be proficient with; Linux operating System, Configuration management tools and methods, various Data analysis tools and methods, and Scripting in Shell and Python.

Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud IaaS and PaaS services.

Experience with security logging technologies and methods including SIM/SEIM. Experience designing, building, maintaining, migrating, tuning, administering, supporting, and problem solving in complex cloud native computing environments, working collaboratively with applications, network and systems teams to resolve problems.

Excellent written and oral communications, including technical documents, and process documents.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and be able to translate business requirements into information systems solutions.

Familiarization and experience with Python and Python Libraries including Numpy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Papermill required

Experience creating and working with Jupyter Notebooks.

Familiarization with data analytics tools including Microsoft Power BI.

Experience accessing and manipulating data with SQL Relational Databases including Postgres, Oracle, MySQL. Familiarization and experience with SDLC practices including Git. Linux and Windows scripting.

Familiarization and experience with Microservice concepts and techniques.
