For Victorian based employees, the compliance date is 26 November 2021.All other global Boeing locations do not have a vaccination requirement at this time.Boeing Communications Management Services (CMS) is looking for several Social Media Specialists to work virtually from any US location.Social Media Specialists partner with Communicators within an assigned Business Unit (BU) or Enterprise function to develop and execute an overarching social media plan to support the BU/ Enterprise function Communications Plan.Social Media Specialists report to a CMS Campaign Manager and are assigned to support a BU or one or more Enterprise functions. In addition, Social Media Specialists participate on the Social Media Excellence Council, led by the CMS Social Media Strategist.Position Responsibilities:Partner with Communicators within an assigned Business Unit (BU) or Enterprise function to develop and execute an overarching social media plan aligned with the BU/Enterprise function Communications Plan.

Monitor, track and report on activity/issues emerging on social media platforms that impact Boeing or the assigned BU/Enterprise function.

Operate in accordance with defined authority and decision-making guidelines to plan, create and publish social media content. Obtain approvals from the Campaign Manager, Social Media Strategist and/or BU/Enterprise function partners when necessary.

Identify opportunities to engage with audience activity on social media platforms (e.g. likes, shares, RTs, comments, etc.) and/or participate in online conversations. Coordinate with BU or Enterprise function colleagues to contribute pre-approved content or develop tailored responses as appropriate.

Coordinate with the CMS Social Media Strategist, Global Media Relations, Public Affairs and Communications Management Services on external-facing Communications activity to enable message alignment across paid, earned, shared and owned channels.

Coordinate with Campaign Performance Specialists and other Communications Management Services teammates to monitor and optimize social media outcomes.

Participate as a member of the Social Media Excellence Council, led by the CMS Social Media Strategist. Contribute to the development and application of social media processes and policies; help identify and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement in Boeing’s presence across all social media platforms.

May contribute to the Social Media Excellence Council as a focal for a specific social media platform (e.g. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, LinkedIn, etc.), contributing expert platform knowledge to guide an enterprise approach. Platform focals will maintain platform-specific governance and best practices documents (playbooks), and counsel other Social Media Specialists on optimal utilization of the specific platform.

Experience working with multiple social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, LinkedIn.

Experience working with large, complex, cross-functional teams.

Experience with audience identification.

Experience analyzing social media data and analytics to aid decision-making.

Experience delivering social media outcomes that align with business objectives.

Experience working with corporate communications strategy, tactics, channels.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Experience with communications planning.

Experience working with Opal and Khoros.

Experience developing and executing process improvement initiatives.

Experience with communications strategy development.

Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple organizations to define and drive common objectives.

Experience in leveraging one or more of the following platforms to achieve corporate objectives: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, You Tube, LinkedIn, other.
