have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for
an IHO Clinical Operations Manager (NCHI grant) on our Publishing and Mission Operations team. As an IHO Clinical Operations Manager (NCHI grant) you will serve
as a grant sub-awardee and primary collaborator with the American Heart
Association (AHA) to support improved blood pressure control among
populations of highest risk, including historically marginalized ethnic and
racial populations. This role is funded
by part of the National Hypertension Control Initiative (NHCI) grant. This role supports the SMBP content
creation, implementation and operationalization of a training curriculum
focused on self-measured blood pressure (SMBP) to improve blood pressure
control among populations of highest risk. In collaboration with the clinical
leads at the funding organization oversee engagement management, lead the
operationalization of the SMBP curriculum, curriculum competency assessment and
AMA grant deliverables.RESPONSIBILITIES:Clinical Operations and IntegrationProvide subject matter expertise regarding clinical operations, care team infrastructure and care processes related to implementing SMBP within a clinical environment
Manage interactions between AMA and clinical leads at the funding organization to ensure HC training has fidelity to AMA’s SMBP curriculum, and triage and manage issues as they arise
Support office hours for clinical leads at the funding organization to gather, analyze, and operationalization circular improvements
Assess the knowledge acquisition of clinical leads at the funding organization by coordinating competency assessment activities, data collection and analysis
EngagementManagementDevelop and manage strategic relationships with the various grant stakeholders
Develop operational infrastructure, in collaboration with the funding organization, to support SMBP curriculum deployment across the health community centers
Facilitate cross organizational multi-disciplinary team strategy and operations meetings to ensure that deployment deliverables are met
Provide feedback and expertise to support iteration upon the deployment strategies using continuous quality improvement methodology
Support the funding organization in their assessment of knowledge acquisition of HC clinical leads by supporting the coordination of competency assessment activities, data collection and analysis, as appropriate
Curriculum Development SupportSupport digital content development for the SMBP curriculum and webinar series; align to national Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate (CLAS) standards and funding organizations HC’s Readiness Assessment results
Develop the Train-the-Trainer content for adult education principles and develop a concordant competency assessment to evaluate impact of training delivered and competency developed
Manage the onboarding, the education and training (consistent with AMA’s high train-the-trainer standards and quality improvement MAP methodology), of clinical leads at the funding organization who will become trained trainers, enabled to support care teams at the health care centers
Provide feedback and expertise to support iteration upon the SMBP curriculum and the Train-the-trainer delivery methods using continuous quality improvement methodology
May include otherresponsibilities as assignedREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field or equivalent isrequired; master’s degree is preferred
Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in healthcare operations, ambulatory care experience required; experience as an RN ormedical assistant preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in grant management,quality improvement, performance excellence, change management and, or clinicaleducation
Demonstrated expertise in health care businessoperations including data management, auditing, and analysis
Demonstrated experience collaborating with diverseteams
Excellent interpersonal skills, strong written andverbal communication skills, including experience presenting in a large groupsetting
Some travel required
