Mode of Interview: 2 round video interviews Note: Must have a minimum of 7 years REACT commercial development hands on experience. Will not be considered otherwise! Excellent communication skills. Proven to work in highly fast paced environment. Chicago or Houston location preferred. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.

Job Description: As a Senior React Developer, you will help lead the modernization of United.com. You will be responsible for writing efficient, testable, and reusable code using React and Redux. We are looking for a developer who is passionate about writing the best quality code and has knowledge/experience across multiple technologies. A successful developer in this role will be one who can accurately comprehend business requirements and code creative solutions to satisfy those requirements to deliver on the best experience for our customers. This role will be working within an agile team environment building new features for United.com and leading the way in enhancing the performance and quality of the codebase.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Lead the design, development, and planning for solutions that maintain United’s technology standards
Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
Perform code reviews
Help to troubleshoot, test, and maintain the product
Work in an Agile environment

SkillsResponsive web design, fluid layouts and positioning, including Mobile Interfaces Browser behavior and compatibility, cross-browser issues and solutions, and testing Knowledge of SEO concepts and coding for Search Engine Optimization Knowledge of/coding REST APIs, AJAX, XML (XSD, XSL, XPATH), and Template Engines and MVC Frameworks Creating CSS3 Animations Knowledge of source control concepts and can commit code to repositories such as Git, SVN, TFS Rapid Prototyping Skills with the ability to demonstrate/pitch website design/functionality to a client Creating and executing unit tests using established unit test framework Must have advanced skills in object oriented coding and scripting in languages such as REACT, Java, .net/C#, php, ruby aswell as skills in relational database modeling and creating advanced SQL queries/procedures. Must also have ability to create in-house JavaScript libraries of reusable components, ability to setup, and configure, and host websites with IIS and Apache, and ability to travel to off-site locations.
