Primary PurposeThis Support Service Analyst will join the IT Support Staff onsite in Chicago. The team has 8 hour shifts from 7AM-6PM so this person will be assigned a set schedule however there is flexibility on that schedule based on other commitments. This will be a hybrid deskside/phone support role focusing on tickets, tracking, and support for all sites as well as work on special projects which will be assigned.

Major ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Assist with walk up requests, handle email requests, answer calls arriving at the Support Center and accurately identify, prioritize and log the incident ticket within the established standards.
  • Maintain asset inventory for the full life cycle of any tracked asset.
  • After hours and evening support is also a requirement. This position also has a 24x7 on call rotation. The on-call rotation is 1 week every 6 weeks. (this only applies to FTE’s)
  • Identify, create, maintain, and update IT and end user documentation.
  • Support the IT team in the maintenance of computer hardware, software and other systems.
  • Maintain current knowledge of new and developing technologies that can be utilized in support of current or future incidents.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with stringent deadlines.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Ensures adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Understands and demonstrates the Company’s core values.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or working towards a degree
  • Strong Windows experience, specifically Active Directory, O365, etc.
  • Proven experience with Imaging, Video Conferencing (Zoom), VPN support, Print Management Tools, etc.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite
  • MAC experience is a nice to have
  • Proficiency with Windows 10
