Senior IT Recruiter for our Chicago, IL office. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity. There is no relocation or sponsorship assistance with this position. If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, then we want to speak with you! Due to growth within our company, we are increasing the size of our team. As an IT Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening and interviewing qualified professionals for one of our large clients in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Partnering with our sales team, you will ensure that your candidates have been thoroughly screened, meet the required qualifications, and can add value to the project or engagement from day one. We will provide you the training and tools needed for a successful career in recruiting. WHAT YOU’LL NEED:Education and Experience »- A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred, along with any training in social media recruiting
- Recruiter certifications are desired
- 5-10 years’ high-volume IT recruiting experience in an agency setting
- Solid experience creating search strings
- Well connected in the Madison area is preferred
- Enjoys and is comfortable talking to just about anyone
- Must be proficient in the use of social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, etc.
- Must be able to think creatively in order to identify talent
- Must be adept at Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Should have the ability and desire to work in an entrepreneurial environment
- Stellar written and verbal communication skills are required; this position requires almost 100% phone conversations
- Strong attention to detail and organization is needed
- Possess a strong client focus
- Have a positive, can-do attitude!
- Source, interview and qualify candidates
- Schedule phone and onsite interviews in conjunction with Account Managers
- Extend offers of employment and coordinate with HR on background checks, paperwork and start dates
- Identify new business opportunities as appropriate
- Attend local technical networking events and participate in training opportunities as necessary
- Speak with candidates after standard or traditional working hours as required.
