About the JobWe are currently looking for

Big Data Developer/Scala Developer. We will consider relocation for candidates with exceptional skills.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Scala is required, developed, and designed using Scala.
• Experience in Scala Programming and Java Programming.
• Scala for file validations, data processing, and transformations.
• Experience with Hadoop and related big data technologies (Hive, Pig, Oozie, Sqoop, Spark, Scala, Kafka).
• Web Services knowledge/experience (specifically REST/API).
• Command-line/scripting knowledge/experience.
• Experience with relational database systems and design OO.
• Experience working with analytical systems and data stores.
• Knowledge/experience in any of these skills Clojure/Ruby/Python/Elixir.
• Knowledge or Experience in AWS tools is beneficial: Kinesis, Athena, EMR, Glue, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum, Dynamo DB, Lake Formation, IAM, QuickSight.
