Maintenance Mechanic

R & R Holsteins is looking for a maintenance mechanic.

Employee will be working out of a service truck and shop.

Service will pertain mainly to agricultural equipment on farms and dairies.

Employee will be required to maintain service records and schedule preventative maintenance repairs.

Monday-Friday, optional Saturdays, schedule is flexible as long as equipment is operable

Wage Depends on Experience, competitive wages, paid vacation after 1 year.

Duties include but not limited to:

Perform preventative maintenance on all farm and dairy equipment.

Perform Daily, weekly, monthly services: Change oil and grease farm and dairy equipment

Troubleshoot and repair all equipment, tractors, trucks and milking equipment.

Repair weld barn, gates, lockups and equipment.

Must follow directions

Must be a self-starter

Must have follow through

Must have a basic understanding of hydraulics, diesel engines, gas engines, differentials, pto’s and pumps.

Must have your own tools- some specialty tools, welder and torch will be provided

Must know how to arc weld and use torches.

Must be able to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair.

Must have a valid driver’s license
