Job Title : Software Engineer 3 - ASP.Net Developer Duration : 11 Months Location: Boise, Idaho Pay rate: $30-$39 an hour

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Our client needs an experienced .Net Developer to work with their team to help build/maintain an Unemployment Insurance (iUS) system. Review current architecture and refactor legacy code to meet current design patterns. While also developing the iUS Tax and Benefitsweb applications for the client. Specifically, the individual will be responsible for building, maintaining and troubleshooting a Selenium test suite and other automated testing practices.

Specific Skills Required Required knowledge of and at least two years recent experience with:
  • C# 7 or later
  • .Net Core 2.1.3 or later
  • JavaScript (TypeScript 3.1 or later)
  • ASPNET Core MVC
  • WEB API 2
  • Entity Framework Core
  • Selenium automation
  • Git 2.19.0 or later
  • Azure DEVOPS
  • OpenAPI (Swagger)
  • RabbitMQ
  • T-SQL (MSSQL 2016 or later)
Preference will be given to developers with demonstrated knowledge or recent experience in:
  • Azure Application Service experience
  • Kubernetes/Helm
Successful candidates will be experienced developers who have strong, current skills in these development and automation testing technologies and the ability to be productive using these tools immediately. Experience with Unemployment Insurance applications is preferred.

Agency Expected Deliverables The contractor will work on-site or remotely under the direction of the clients project manager/team lead and will code to the iUS coding standards as part of the development team. Contractor will attend daily project scrum(s). Design and peer reviews will be used to ensure work is of appropriate quality and quantity. Contractor will develop C# code, coded unit tests, and system documentation.
