Some relocation assistance possible.What you should bring with you (Skills/Experience)• Serve as senior technical advisor, providing leadership and oversight for the design, planning, implementation and support for all aspects of the HIPIC information technology system.• Partner and collaborate with intelligence analysts, data scientists, data engineers, industry and DOD partners to define and design information systems for new or existing complex computer systems to ensure the IT infrastructure adequately supports all performance requirements for data collection, processing, storage, analysis, visualization, and dissemination.• Interact with management and staff to provide technical assistance for continuous improvement of IT solutions.• Plan, organize, schedule, and supervise the day-to-day technical support activities, including troubleshooting, customer service issues, approvals, installation, integration, verification testing, and lifecycle maintenance.• Participates in meetings with various product vendors (e.g., mobile data analytics, analytics platforms/tools, databases, web-services) and advises on “best of breed” selection of products and the most cost effective integration or modification to fit within the existing infrastructure. • Hire, train, and develop a team of IT professionals and serve as supervisor for IT personnel supporting the HIPIC facility.• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and processes.• Oversee management of equipment and parts inventory.• Develops and delivers cost estimates for proposed changes to the infrastructure and its roadmap.• Prepares and delivers oral presentations on all infrastructure related plans and issues and makes sound and timely recommendations. • Other duties as assigned.What you must have• 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in in computer science, engineering or related technical discipline; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.• Ability to manage personnel providing the full spectrum of IT support to a secure DOD facility operating on government domains.• Recent experience (minimum 2 in the last 10 years) supporting DOD/IC Information Technologies requirements.• Familiarity with DOD/IC IT accreditation policy and procedures to include RMF and ICD 705 requirements• IAT Level III certification required• Security Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance.Bonus Points for…• Masters in computer science, engineering or related technical discipline• Recent experience (minimum 2 in the last 5 years) supporting USARPAC or INDOPACOM Information Technologies requirements.• Telecommunications, long haul circuits, satellite communications, and fiber optic links.• Experience with multiple operating systems (e.g., UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cisco IOS)• Experience designing APIs and system interfaces• Processing and managing large data sets (multi PB scale)A division of Huntington Ingalls IndustriesThis opportunity resides with Defense & Federal Solutions, a business group within Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Technical Solutions division, helps solve tough national security challenges for the Department of Defense, the intelligence community and federal civilian agencies.
