The National Account Executive (NAE) role will support the Contract Cold business unit, a division of Keurig Dr Pepper, Inc. (KDP), as a member of the Contract Cold Manufacturing team. The Contract Cold Manufacturing team manages KDPs private label, external contract, and co pack business, as well as national brand juice, punch, sauce, etc. in certain accounts. Reporting to the Vice President, Contract Cold Manufacturing, this role will own the customer relationship with key assigned retailers and be responsible for driving full portfolio volume, profit, and gross margin growth by delivering upon KDP and the retailers’ objectives. Key areas of focus: PRIVATE LABEL Ability to analyze current retail Customer specific Assortment opportunities, cultivate new Private Label relationships that align with the broader KDP Strategic Partner Alliance initiative and effective use of KDP Supply Chain site specific capacity and capability. BRANDED Distribution and availability of key KDP owned brands and packages, excellence in display execution and retail conditions, and everyday price and promoted price compliance. Additionally, this role will support our brand business through optimized growth of our Contract Cold Manufacturing business. The role demands a results-oriented, collaborative thinker with strong problem solving, project management, and strategic selling skills. The right candidate must bring solution-based thinking and have excellent communication skills. This individual must proactively team/partner with internal KDP resources across multiple functions that influence and assist in the execution of the Contract Cold Manufacturing business. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES + Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with assigned grocery, convenience and drug accounts, internal key stakeholders, KDP operations and KDP leadership team. + Utilize internal, syndicated, and point of sale data to meet and exceed annual goals and objectives. + Manage promotional process and new product rollouts from planning stage, to development, to execution ensuring all retail timelines are met, deliverables executed and timely communication to all internal and retailer parties. + Manage promotional plans within assigned trade budgets and accurately forecast monthly/ annual volume forecasts. + Ability to understand and apply market intelligence to sales strategy. + Actively manage customers, processes, pricing, costs, and forecasts to ensure annual operating plan requirements are met or exceeded STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES + Solid understanding of CPG business including price, product, placement and promotion strategies. + Manage and support all aspects of customer relationship. + Develop short- and long-term strategic growth plans for assigned grocery, convenience and drug accounts leveraging HQ support teams (National dedicated chain teams, Sales Strategy, Revenue Management, Category Management, Supply Chain, Finance, etc.) + Sell and communicate key initiatives to internal and external stakeholders + Maximize return on spending (trade/cap x) through effective plan management Total Rewards + Salary Range: $109500 - $191600 / year. + Actual placement within the compensation range may vary depending on experience, skills, and other factors + Benefits, subject to election and eligibility: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability, Paid Time Off (including paid parental leave, vacation, and sick time), 401k with company match, Tuition Reimbursement, and Mileage Reimbursement + Annual bonus based on performance and eligibility Requirements + Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and or 3 years of CPG sales experience or retailer/ buyer background + Outstanding customer relationship skills and demonstrated success in achieving business objectives with commercial partners + Demonstrated skills in selling/negotiating within a defined strategic plan within assigned accounts + Able to demonstrate analytical and customer-centric problem-solving skills + Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook + Leader, aggressive/assertive, accountable, and highly organized + Possess strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills + Positive, collaborative, fact-based and purposeful style that engages broader organization + Position requires approximately 30% travel + Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
