• Provides technical support for computers and associated networks. Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs personal computers, network equipment such as servers, modems, multiplexers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors.
• Provides personal computer, hardware, and software support.
• Installs, services, and repairs personal computers and installs attendant software.
• Connects personal computers and terminals to existing data networks.
• Maintains network diagrams and circuit records. Maintains trouble logs.
• Instructs users in the use of personal computers and networks. Investigates information, network, and communications needs of users, and makes recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
• Performs basic PC, PBX, and network software programming.

• Must have an Associate's Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years related experience or High School Diploma/Equivalent and 8 years related experience.
• Must have experience working in a technical support position troubleshooting hardware, software and network connectivity issues.
• Must be will to work cooperatively in a team environment with other support groups via phone calls, email, and messaging chat tools.
• Must have knowledge, skills, and abilities in some or all of the following; Computer operations background, computer hardware, software, networking and troubleshooting knowledge, verifying data transmission and data analysis.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills to support communication with callers or users, including but not limited to: phone, email, in-person, and other communication formats.
