Description:Client is a dynamic data and consulting company specializing in the Healthcare Industry. We are looking for a Data Analyst with 3+ years of experience to work with the Reporting and Analytics team. The position requires hands-on technical skills, in particular, a strong knowledge of SQL is required as well as experience using Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI. This person is expected to analyze, aggregate and query both internal and external data sources to provide insight into our business processes and performance. This position requires both analytical and business acumen.

Reports to: Director of Data Analytics

Responsibilities:

• Learn about Client’s products and processes to provide internal and external consulting.
• Utilize analytical skills to answer business questions, resolve data issues and deliver useful reporting to clients, internal customers, and management.
• Assist with new report creation, automation, and maintenance of delivery platforms.
• Establish, monitor, and track key performance metrics.
• Document processes and procedures
• Reconciliation and Audit of patient financial accounts, insurance billing, and payments

Business Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience as a business analyst or in a similar technical capacity is required.
• Good understanding of financial and/or healthcare data
• Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with strict adherence to timelines and deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Technical Requirements:

• Application of business and critical thinking applied to data analytics.
• Experience with Business Intelligence software applications (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• Excellent SQL skills
• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
• An understanding of relational databases
• A knowledge of at least one programming language (SAS, python etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Technical fields
