As a Multi-Functional Manufacturing Supervisor in the C-130 Outer Wing Panel Shop in Marietta, GA, you will oversee a talented team of hourly bargaining unit associates. Together, you’ll ensure excellence in quality, cost, and schedule performance while supporting the world-renowned C-130 aircraft program.What You Will Be DoingSupervising a team of 10+ hourly associates in the production of C-130 Outer Wing Panels.Implementing lean manufacturing principles to drive process improvements and enterprise excellence.Managing cost, schedule, and quality performance to achieve business goals and exceed production schedules.Collaborating with HR and union stewards to address employee-related matters and ensure resolution.Overseeing employee training, performance, and compliance documentation.Conducting investigations and facilitating problem resolution activities.Participating in meetings and supporting operational objectives, with flexibility for extended hours as needed.Ensuring adherence to company ethics, business practices, and environmental, safety, and health (ESH) standards.Building effective interfaces with internal and external stakeholders.What’s In It For You Be part of a team supporting the iconic C-130 aircraft, a cornerstone of Lockheed Martin’s legacy. Aircraft manufacturing or production experience. Proficiency in using Shop Floor Manager (SFM) or similarsystems. Previous leadership or management experience in a production setting.Desired Skills: 3+ years aircraft production experience. Experience in a union environment. Experience in budgeting and staffing. Shop Floor Manager (SFM) experience. Able to multi-task and prioritize efficiently. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate orally, in writing, and in group settings as a member or leader. Strong Interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with technical, non-technical, and business staff at all levels. Comfortable with Microsoft business suite with the ability to learn additional computer systems. Proficient in Quality Action Document System (QADS). Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
