As a Registered Nurse on the Cardiovascular Observation Unityou willcoordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department.In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care.

You will serveas an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.

You will assess patient condition during admission and during each shift as scheduled and/or as needed, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

You will perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s). Documents the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.

You will performthe administration of prescribed medications. Monitors patient for therapeutic response. Notifies provider and intervenes as appropriate in the event of an unintended response to medication.


Must be a graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher is required

Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state which you practice and/or hold and active Compact/Multi-State RN license

A current BLS and ACLS Heath Care Provider required upon hire

Prior experience is preferred
