Position DescriptionThe Supervisor, CBO is responsible for the day to day workflow and supervision for one of the functional areas of the department (Denials, Follow-Up, Cash Posting, Collections). The Supervisor is expected to be a subject matter expert in the area. Direct supervision of assigned staff to include: coaching, mentoring, monitoring, evaluating, and utilization of progressive discipline as required.Position RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED. 3 years or more of experience in Healthcare reimbursement. Excellent internal/external customer service skills. Insurance billing requirements. Proficient in use of Microsoft programs. Experience in healthcare billing systemPreferred RequirementsBachelor's degree. 5 years or more of experience in hospital or professional billing. Excellent leadership skills. Medical/ Insurance billing and collections experience.
