The VTC Technician will work individually and as a member of a team in a complex IT network environment involving support to geographically dispersed sites and locations, and will assist the client in ensuring VTC capabilities for VIP customers.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support of information system applications and related peripheral hardware. Monitor and respond to hardware and software problems utilizing a variety of hardware testing tools and techniques. Install and configure applications software and related hardware. Provide software and system troubleshooting and support. Provide technical support and training to end-users. Provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technicians. Provide VTC Daily Operations, set up equipment and VTC Bridge for VTC session, establish connection to the remote site/s, operate the equipment and monitor meetings. Support installation and configuration of new VTC hardware and reconfiguration of existing hardware. Provide maintenance, troubleshooting and repair services for VTC and conference room systems. Interface with the hardware maintenance provider to support resolve any equipment, malfunctions and provide status. Respond to request for support of ongoing VTCs and conferences Performs stress and performance tests on required equipment Apply all applicable STIGs to supported Video Teleconferences systems MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: REQUIRED CLEARANCE: Final Top Secret with SCI eligibility Minimum of three (3) years experience in VTC setup and configuration Minimum of five (5) years of experience in IT desktop support/IT Service Desk supportCertification Requirements (required prior to start date): Baseline Certification: IAT II certification or higher Computing Environment (CE): Installing and Configuring Windows 10 (70-698); or, both Windows 10 (MD-100) and (MD-101)COMPETENCIES: Diversity - Demonstrates knowledge of EEO policy; Shows respect and sensitivity for cultural differences; Educates others on the value of diversity; Promotes a harassment-free environment; Builds a diverse workforce.
