Geolocation AnalystMETIS, a PAE company, is a government services provider of strategic solutions to the defense, homeland security, and the Intelligence Community. Our Senior Leaders, Subject Matter Experts, and Operational Specialists have direct, on-the-ground expertise in planning and executing the most critical missions our country and business sectors have faced - with current operations ongoing in every region in the US, to include heavy support to the Washington, DC metro area and Tampa, FL area along with the Middle East, South Asia, Afghanistan, Latin America, Europe, or Africa. We offer experience in addressing today's hardest problems.Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. TS/SCI clearance is required.This is a 24/7 operation and shift work is required Responsibilities:- Support strategic and tactical intelligence organizations in a dynamic technical operations center, developing, refining, and producing geo-locational data to support the development of various intelligence reports
- Manages and facilitates the prosecution of collection-related data files, manipulates complex SIGINT receivers and signal processors, and produces reliable geo-locational data and intelligence information
- Conducts general and directed searches, and perform target development efforts
- ACTIVE TS/SCI clearance is required
- Two (2) or more years of operational experience in geo-location within the last three (3) years in strategic or tactical organizations as an analyst or linguist.
- Experience performing communications or signals intelligence collection
- Formal training in SIGINT, COMINT, or ELINT collection from DoD or Intelligence Agency schools
- Must have the ability to operate in a dynamic mission environment, be able to multi-task across multiple technical efforts simultaneously, and communicate effectively through virtual and chat-based communications
- Foreign Language Fluency and/or experience as a cryptologic linguist in Pashtu, Yemeni, Somali, Arabic, and Farsi is highly desired. Proof of DoD/Agency recognized language proficiency testing is required for consideration of language skills
- Experience with ground, airborne, and/or national geo-location systems
- Direction-finding (DF), and exploiting SIGINT internals to corroborate and expand locational data and target disposition
- SIGINT operations with ground, airborne and other platforms
- Knowledge of GSM theory, technology and networks
- Previous intelligence collection/target experience within the Middle East, North Africa, and Central Asia
- Familiarity with tactical SIGINT Terminal Guidance (STG) concepts, techniques, procedures, and methodologies
- Direct Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) support to deployed military elements
- Identifying, evaluating and providing Indications and Warning (I&W), tipoffs, and other direct-support data and information to forward-deployed elements
- Conducting Pattern of Life analysis, developing target packages, or managing multiple collection mission priorities simultaneously in a live environment
- Familiarity/experience with any of the following: GILGAMESH, AIRHANDLER, TPCS, MEV/SS, ELCC, WITCHHUNT, HITS DRAGONFLY, WHAMI, TEMPTRESS, SIGINT Terminal Guidance (STG), ASG, RAS Subsystems, STORY CLASSIC, NGW ITOS, Next Generation Endpoint Intelligence Execution Theory/Techniques, Assured Pursuit, GISA2011 , DEPL2000, SIGINT Analysis Techniques
