Requisition Number: 215688 The Business Operations Analyst, ED&O is an integral member of the Enterprise DevOps Enablement (ED&O) Operational Service Enablement team. The Analyst is responsible for providing financial and operational support for ED&Os leaders and our third-party labor contract partners. This role will primarily serve as the main point of contact for all matters relating to third-party labor spend that is billed through a Statement of Work (SOW). This role will leverage existing automation that has been built to increase the speed and accuracy of the monthly accruals and actuals process, as well as look for additional automation opportunities to make our team more efficient. The Analyst will be working closely with ED&O leaders and third-party labor contract partners to ensure that the monthly financial process flows smoothly and efficiently.

Primary Responsibilties and Essential Duties:
  • Managing the monthly accruals/actuals process for all of ED&Os leaders and third-party labor (3PL) contract partners. This includes working with 3PL partners to collect their information, load their information in our billing tool, and assist with invoicing.
  • Maintaining the information in our billing tool to ensure that all of our engagements are setup properly and updated when changes need to occur.
  • Onboarding new vendors into our monthly accruals/actuals process by teaching them the process and setting them up to be able to run the necessary automated scripts.
  • Running automated scripts that use a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool from UiPath and Excel macros using VBA.
  • Coordinating with Supply Chain on new Statements of Work so the necessary steps can be taken to prepare our billing tool for new engagements that will be created.
  • Managing the data that we get from other teams to ensure that it arrives when expected, is in the right format, and is able to be consumed by our automated scripts.
  • Communicating regularly with our 3PL partners to remind them of upcoming due dates and deliver updated files that are needed for our automated scripts.
  • Providing support to our project management teams to teach them how to read and understand financial reports that show how and when charges are being applied against their project codes.

Qualifications:

Minimum:
  • 2-5 years of business or finance related experience
  • Experience assisting 3PL contract partners with their accruals, actuals, invoices, SOWs (Statement of Work) , or other financial matters
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • High degree of accuracy and reliability in data processing
  • Ability to work as an individual contributor and within a team environment
  • Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and laymans language
  • Proven ability to take initiative
  • Innovates new and unique approaches without guidance from others
  • Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment
  • Comfortable working within an existing process, but also desiring to look for ways to further automate manual tasks

Preferred:
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), or other related field
  • Experience with automation using Microsoft Excel VBA
  • Experience with automation using Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
