Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers

Entry level position requires supervision of crew foreman.

Prepare truck for the day: Load gas cans, mowers and other equipment onto Crabapple trucks, secure all equipment, Must be able to handle the physicality of landscaping work: weather conditions, heavy lifting (30-80 pounds), and extensive walking Maintain and correctly use of PPE

It is required to Follow foreman directions and understand safety policy such as vest and cones usage, and safety operation of equipment.

Learn from foreman the process to complete a Crabapple quality work.

Use hand/power tools/equip to lay sod, mow, trim, plant, water, fertilize, dig, rake.

Edge grass on curbs and walkways, blow leaves and lawn clippings,

Pull weeds as needed

Clean site and watch for trash,limbs and rocks

Clean debris, pull weeds as needed

Constant communication with foreman.

Work schedule starts at 6:30 am. Employee needs to be ready and eager to work in the field (outside work).

Drug test required prior to starting work & at random, upon suspicion, & post-accident.
