Requisition [[id]]: [[title]]#LI-KC1Job DescriptionPrimary Purpose:Manages and provides oversight related to the creation and maintenance of Norfolk Southern’s vendor master in accordance with corporate policy, internal controls, and other regulatory requirements.Job DescriptionPrincipal Duties:Review new vendor master records for propriety and to ensure proper setup

Perform vendor master validations including tax identification number verification, OFAC validation, and bank account validations using new technology/ third party tools

Analyze vendor master records to identify missing/ inaccurate data

Review and cleanse vendor master records in support of the upcoming SAP S4 upgrade project

Resolve inquiries from internal and external business partners related to vendor master mainternance procedures and requests

Ensure vendor master records are created and maintained in accordance with corporate policy, documented internal controls, and other regulatory requirements

Collaborate with IT to resolve system issues and to perform user acceptance testing for system upgrades and enhancements

Initiate and particiate in various projects as needed, including automation and process improvements

Serve as the promary back-up for the Supervisor Accounts Payable
